This page explains what happens to the details you send through the "Request a pilot" form. Amara is an independent prototype run by Alex Smith, who is responsible for these details.
What the form collects
The name of your school or organization, country, your name and role, your email, the approximate number of students, connectivity, available devices, language of instruction, and your message if you write one. The form never asks for information about students, so please don't include any.
The feedback form asks for your message and the type of message. Your computer or phone and your email are optional. It is used only to read your message, improve Amara and reply if you asked.
What it's used for
Only to reply to your request. It isn't used for marketing and isn't added to any mailing list.
Where it goes and for how long
- Resend delivers the form to me by email and keeps a copy for up to 30 days.
- The email arrives in my Gmail inbox, where I keep it for up to 12 months.
- Vercel hosts this site and may process technical data, such as your IP address, to serve the pages.
What this site doesn't do
It uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and I don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
The tutor itself
This page is about the website. The tutor runs on the laptop, and the questions students ask it aren't sent anywhere.
Your choices
You can ask me to show, correct or delete your details at any time. Just write to me through the form or on LinkedIn.
